Full-text search across every earnings call transcript.

GEThttps://edge.alpha.earningscall.dev/search

Searches the transcript corpus and returns the most relevant calls. Each result includes a relevance score and up to three highlighted snippets showing where the query matched. Filter by company, exchange, year, or quarter to narrow the result set.

Paging lives in meta. from and size describe the page this response holds, and total is the number of matching calls, counted up to 10000: a query that matches more than that reports 10000.

The list comes back under results, next to a meta object that carries the request id and the item count — see the response envelope.

Parameters#

apikeystringRequired

Your API key.

qstringRequired

The search query. Required and must be non-empty.

symbolstringOptional

Restrict to a single ticker.

exchangestringOptional

Restrict to a single exchange.

yearintegerOptional

Restrict to a single year.

quarterintegerOptional

Restrict to a single quarter, 1–4. Accepts q1 or Q1 formats too.

fromintegerOptional

Pagination offset, default 0. from plus size cannot exceed 10000.

sizeintegerOptional

Result count per page, default 10, max 100 (10 for demo).

Error responses#

See the Errors page for the full error format. This endpoint can return:

400missing_parameter — Missing or empty q parameter.400invalid_parameter — A year that is not a number, a quarter outside 1–4, a from below 0, a size below 1, or from plus size above 10000. A from or size that is not a number is not an error: the default is used.401invalid_api_key — Auth failure.403plan_restriction — Plan does not include transcript search.429rate_limit_exceeded — Plan rate limit exceeded.503service_unavailable — Search backend is not available.

Plan access#

Transcript search requires Enterprise or Enterprise Plus. The demo key can search too, capped at 10 results per request.
